When
Opencast Summit 2021 will take place between 6th and 9th April 2021. It will spread through 4 days (instead of the usual 3 days).
Where
Opencast Summit 2021 will be hosted by TU Graz. However, there will be no physical presence: the event will take place online. BigBlueButton will be used for the sessions and Gather for coffee breaks or evening activities.
About the summit
The Opencast community is an international collaboration of individuals, higher education institutions and organisations working together to discuss, develop, define and document best practices for the management of audiovisual content in academia.
The summit is dedicated to the use and management of academic video in general and Opencast in particular.
Evening activities
Although there will be no physical presence, there will be online events which include a pub quiz, a video game performance, and a music concert. You can participate in these events ad-hoc: no prior registration is necessary. Find more information about each event in the Programme.
